High On the Hog

Based on the book by Jessica B. Harris and hosted by Stephen Satterfield, the four-episode Netflix docuseries takes viewers from Africa to the American South, exploring how Black chefs, historians and activists are keeping centuries-old culinary traditions alive.

The series won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Documentary (Television) as well as a Peabody Award.
