The newest documentary feature from Pilgrim Media Group, Giving Voice, is coming to Netflix later this year! The film, which took home the Festival Favorite Award at this year’s Sundance, follows the inspiring students who flock every year to the August Wilson Monologue Competition for a chance to perform on Broadway. Through mastering the words and characters of the playwright, these students bring a voice to a brand new generation.
Directed by James D. Stern and Fernando Villena and featuring original music by John Legend, the film lifts up the voices of the unheard and takes an intimate look into the Black experience.
