The hit Netflix series continues to receive critical acclaim in its second season.
High on the Hog won the Award of Excellence for lifestyle programming at this week’s Realscreen Awards. Based on the book by Jessica B. Harris and hosted by Stephen Satterfield, the second season of the hit Netflix docuseries takes viewers on a journey across the United States, exploring how Black chefs, historians, and activists are keeping centuries-old culinary traditions alive.
The limited series was also fortunate enough to win NAACP and Peabody awards in its critically-lauded first season.
