Hitco and Pilgrim Announce Slate of Programs

Pilgrim Media Group recently announced a new collaboration with L.A. Reid and Charles Goldstuck’s Hitco Entertainment. Reid, who produced many of today’s biggest musical stars, started the new company with Goldstuck earlier this year and has already signed Big Boi (Outkast) and Dinah Jane (Fifth Harmony) as well as many others.

Together they announced a slate of new projects including a singing competition series, tentatively called Take the Lead as well as a documentary series chronicling Reid’s time in the burgeoning Atlanta rap scene.

“We’re beyond thrilled to partner with Craig [Piligan] and the innovative content creators at Pilgrim,” said Reid and Goldstuck. “Given their diverse portfolio of programming and Craig’s unparalleled experience as an industry pioneer, we’re looking forward to the launch of our television business, which we see as a continuation of our many years of experience developing and producing cross-platform content.”

Piligan, president and founder of Pilgrim, said, “In all respects, L.A. and Charles have each made a tremendous impact on music.  We are excited to be working with them to push the boundaries of the music programming genre with these projects and more to come.”
