The hit Netflix docu-series shares the limelight with some of the greatest stories told in 2020!

Awards season has begun and the Pilgrim and Netflix hit docu-series High on the Hog has just received its first nomination!

Based on the book by Jessica B. Harris and hosted by Stephen Satterfield, the four-episode Netflix docuseries took viewers from Africa to the American South, exploring how Black chefs, historians and activists are keeping centuries-old culinary traditions alive.

We are eternally grateful to the International Documentary Association for their nomination of High on the Hog for Best Multi-Part Documentary in their  37th annual awards! The series joins a tough crowd of other high-caliber docs including Exterminate All the Brutes, Nuclear Family, Philly D.A. and Uprising.
