Lionsgate Sound has officially launched, creating a new platform for creative Lionsgate entertainment. Engineered by Pilgrim, Lionsgate Sound will see an amazing slate of new podcasts from true crime to investigative reporting to entertainment and pop culture.
Launching with the new network is our first series: Surviving El Chapo: The Twins Who Brought Down a Drug Lord. Hosts Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson and Charlie Webster tell the story of Jay and Pete Flores, two twins who created America’s largest drug empire.
The next few weeks will see the premieres of many other shows as well including A Nation for Thieves, about global kleptocracy and the tyrants that plunder their own nations’ wealth; Died and Survived, a chilling examination into near death experiences and the truth behind the mystery; and Playing Dead, a pop culture show about our favorite characters who have died on screen.
