Pilgrim Media Group and Craig Piligian are excited to announce that we have teamed up with oscar-winning director Roger Ross Williams (Music by Prudence) to produce High on the Hog, a docuseries chronicling African American history through the lens of food. The series, which is based on the book High on the Hog: A Culinary Journey from Africa to America by Dr. Jessica B. Harris, will also be produced by Karis Jagger and Fabienne Toback who initially optioned the book.
