Playing Dead, the latest podcast from Lionsgate Sound premiered on Tuesday to much acclaim including making Guardian’s “Podcasts of the Week.”
The new series examines the lives and deaths of pop culture’s greatest on screen heroes through the eyes of a host who knows what it’s like to be killed off. Actor Michael Nathanson played Agent Sam Stein on Marvel’s The Punisher before he was (spoiler alert!) murdered by colleague Billy Russo played by Ben Barns who guests on the podcast’s premiere episode.
Playing Dead is the third series from the Lionsgate Sound network, following the successful launches of true crime shows Surviving El Chapo and A Nation for Thieves.
