Just in time for the heat of summer, ABC’s newest competition series, The Ultimate Surfer premieres Monday, August 23rd at 10pm!
Surfing’s hottest up and coming male and female stars are hitting the waves in a winner-takes-all elimination tournament. Week after week our athletes will battle both as teams and individually to stave off elimination. Kelly Slater has invited the new talents to his state of the art Surf Ranch in Lemoore, California – a 700m x 150m pool that can generate real waves on command – for 8 weeks of challenges based around different surfing techniques.
While all the competitors come from different backgrounds, they all want one thing: an opportunity to compete on the World Surf League Tour.
The show is executive produced by Pilgrim’s CEO and President Craig Piligian, WSL Studios CEO Erik Logan, and UFC President Dana White.
