New Season Premieres Sunday, February 21, at 9/8c on National Geographic

Seasons One through Nine Now Streaming on Disney+

The bluefin tuna fishermen of Gloucester, Massachusetts, thought they had seen it all — unpredictable weather, grueling days at sea, fierce competition and, of course, intense fish fights. But in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the captains are faced with an unprecedented crisis as volatility in the global markets affects their bottom line — new catch limits are imposed and the demand for bluefin shrinks. In order to survive, the captains put old rivalries aside and work together to ensure that others in the fleet are able to bring home a paycheck during these difficult times. The new season of National Geographic’s hit series Wicked Tuna kicks off with an extended 90-minute episode on Sunday, February 21, at 9/8c. Produced by Lionsgate’s Pilgrim Media Group, Wicked Tuna will also air internationally on National Geographic in 171 countries and in 43 languages, and previous seasons of the series are available to stream on Disney+.
