National Geographic’s “Wicked Tuna” fishing series celebrates its 100th episode with Sunday’s 90-minute Season 7 finale. Here are some fun facts from the first seven seasons:

  • Longest battle: 12 hours (Season 6). The fish weighed 511 pounds, netting Capt. Tyler McLaughlin and his crew $10,220.
  • Highest price for a single fish: $16,701 (Season 5) for a tuna weighing 879 pounds caught by Capt. TJ Ott aboard – what else? – the Hot Tuna.
  • Biggest tuna ever caught: 1.030 pounds (Season 1) by Capt. Dave Carraro and his crew on the FV-Tuna.com
  • Number of boats featured: 16
  • Number of cast members: 52
  • Number of captains: 13
