Pilgrim of the Week: Alex Korhely-Day

This week for the Pilgrim of the Week, we’re featuring Alex Korhely-Day. From assisting four of Pilgrim’s Executive Producers to assisting legal team and our head Pilgrim, Craig, in past lifetimes, she makes it all happen behind the scenes! Alex talks about her favorite projects working at Pilgrim, what’s the best thing that happened to her this week and more. Learn more about our awesome Pilgrim of the Week:

What do you do at Pilgrim?

I am currently an assistant to four of the best Executive Producers! In previous lifetimes, I’ve assisted the post and legal team here and on occasion, our head Pilgrim CRAIG! After working with a variety of people over the past two plus years, I find pride in being able to recognize an individual in the office by their footstep from down the hallway.

What’s the coolest project you’ve worked on?

I am not copying Sarah because she is one of my favorite people but Pilgrim Pie Day is possibly the best ‘project’ here. Not only do we get to step away from our desks for a few hours while being paid, (YAY) but we get the chance to try a bunch of different pies that are usually very delicious. Side note, calories don’t count during the holidays so I will be volunteering as tribute to taste an unhealthy amount of pies again.

What’s the best thing that happened to you this week, either at work or outside of it?

I came across the show Vikings end of last week and I am literally OBSESSED. I will now only be responding to Lagertha (the shield maiden) who is a mix of Lena Dunham, Arya Stark and my mom.

Fill in the blank: If you really knew me, you’d know_____.

I’ve never drank soda before, I’m obsessed with sloths, Leonardo DiCaprio and Dr. Pimple Popper. Fun Fact: Dr. PP came in to meet with development one day and I saw her as she was leaving and lost it. I have never been so excited to meet someone that I couldn’t speak but made the hand gestures of popping pimples on my face when I realized it was her in the flesh. It was so genuine that she thought I was planted by Pilgrim.

Who do you nominate for Pilgrim feature and why?

I nominate Emily Berens because her sarcasm always brightens my day and she is one of the coolest Pilgrims here.
