This week, we’re featuring Drew Miller, Development Coordinator, as the Pilgrim of the Week. Read what Drew had to say about working alongside the development team:
What do you do at Pilgrim? Coordinator, Development—I manage the desks of Johnny Gould, Nicole Silveira, and Teddy Ulett, and maintain communication within the development department.
What’s the coolest project you’ve worked on? I live for those moments that I get to participate in the creative process, so helping to conceive and prepare materials has been the best part of my job so far. Can’t really speak to individual projects, as they’re super duper top secret! However, I have successfully stalked several famous politicians during my tenure here, so that’s a pretty cool thing I guess.
What’s the best thing that happened to you this week, either at work or outside of it? I made it to the gym! It’s my 2017 resolution to get to the gym on Monday mornings. Two weeks down, fifty to go–if you want to come spinning with me, you know where my desk is.
Fill in the blank: If you really knew me, you’d know_____. Every line of every Paul Verhoeven movie by heart. It seems anybody in my orbit for more than a week or two can recite Showgirls start to finish without any help. If you didn’t thoroughly enjoy Basic Instinct, RoboCop and Starship Troopers, we have absolutely nothing in common anyway and should never speak.
Who do you nominate for Pilgrim feature and why? Mary Sherwood because she’s an amazing colleague and friend, and because she essentially introduced me to my dog who is the love of my life.
