Every week, we spotlight our Pilgrim team behind the scenes, and share their thoughts on upcoming projects and fun facts about what it’s like working at Pilgrim. From shows including Nat Geo’s “Wicked Tuna” and Lifetime’s “Bring It“, to our digital channel, 1620 Media, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do, without the awesome team we work with everyday. This week, we’re spotlighting Haley Dodd, Digital Coordinator, as the Pilgrim of the Week. Read what Haley had to say about working alongside the digital team in bringing television to the social world:
1. What do you do at Pilgrim?
I am the Digital Coordinator for Pilgrim. I manage Pilgrim’s shows social media accounts, such as Bring It!, Ghost Hunters and My Big Fat Fabulous Life. I create and maintain social media strategies for our shows on air and upcoming. Social media is always evolving and changing so I have to stay on top of trends and innovative technology we can implement into our social media platforms.
2. What’s the coolest project you’ve worked on?
My favorite thing to do at Pilgrim is collaborating and brainstorming different ideas with talent that comes into our offices looking to do something with our digital platforms. It’s always exciting to come up with new digital show concepts.
3. What’s the best thing that happened to you this week, either at work or outside of it?
Technology can sometimes work against you so it’s always a good week when things download correctly and I’m able to post content in time for show premieres. I love getting feedback from fans on our shows and what they are looking forward to watching.
