Pilgrim of the Week: Mary Sherwood, Clearance Supervisor

Pilgrim of the Week: Mary Sherwood, Clearance Supervisor

Happy February! To kick-off the new week we’re featuring Pilgrim of the Week, Mary Sherwood. As a Clearance Supervisor, Mary works on finding and licensing video and stills for all our shows including Bring It, The Wheel, Fast N’ Loud and more.  We spoke with Mary to hear about the best part of her week, the coolest project she’s worked on and more:

What do you do at Pilgrim?

I am the Clearance Supervisor. I find and license video and stills for all the shows that need them.

What’s the coolest project you’ve worked on?

I enjoy “Fast N’ Loud” because it’s always different (and not just cars) but the biggest challenge was “Missing in Alaska”. That show asked for images of mythological creatures like Killer Mermaids and Otterman.

What’s the best thing that happened to you this week, either at work or outside of it?

I was excited about the Oscar nominations coming out and that I’ve seen almost all of the nominated movies.

Fill in the blank: If you really knew me, you’d know_____.

I like dogs better than people. And I can tap dance.

Who do you nominate for Pilgrim feature and why?

Denise Galvão. She always has a positive attitude!
