Team work makes the dream work! As the world’s most diverse production company, we make sure that we have a great team that can make magic happen everyday. Meet one of our awesome executives at Pilgrim, Rebecka Biejo, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Rebecka wears making hats: one day she can be drafting contracts for production or the next day she’s handling operations-related issues. Learn more about Rebecka’s role, her favorite Pilgrim show and the coolest project she’s been a part of:
What do you do at Pilgrim?
As Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, I have the privilege of working on a variety of projects every day. Some days I’m drafting, negotiating or reviewing contracts in business affairs and/or production, other days I’m handling insurance, operations, or employment-related issues, and I’m always solving puzzles and finding creative ways to help the company move forward.
What’s the coolest project you’ve worked on?
If we’re talking about television programs, it’s The Ultimate Fighter. I love the issues involved with that show, plus the talent and format are really exciting. But outside of programming, I really enjoyed developing the company’s first data retention, destruction and security protocols since data security is such a universal concern now.

What’s the best thing that happened to you this week, either at work or outside of it?
Just completed a girls’ shopping trip in Palm Springs. We shopped till we dropped!
Fill in the blank: If you really knew me, you’d know_____.
At heart, I’m an avocado rancher’s daughter who loves krav maga and CrossFit, and occasionally teaches swing and salsa dancing on the side.
What’s your favorite Pilgrim show?
For the same reasons expressed above, The Ultimate Fighter!
Who do you nominate for Pilgrim feature and why?
I nominate Christina Pham. She has a wealth of knowledge about some of the most random and interesting things, like intellectual property rights, fishing, you name it. She always surprises me with new information on so many different subjects; I think she’s secretly a CIA agent.
